For those catching up, our previous episode, we did The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

And for the longest time, I have gotten these two books confused. So I wanted to, you know,

I figured the only way I could really solve this problem is to, to read them both and make

also Kate's problem. And so here we are. And what's hilarious is in the UK, this book was published as just the seven deaths of Evelyn

Hardcastle.

And then if you Google it, someone interviewed Stuart Turton, I was like, is this like,

did you add a bonus half death?

Like, is this a, what are the differences between it?

And he's like, no, the American publisher just maybe change it because there was this other similar book that came out right before mine, which is Evelyn Hugo. And so we added the one half. And I was like, that's all you didn't, like, although it's about Evelyn Hardcastle's murder, I feel like he could have changed your name.

Just do a quick control F and giving her a slightly different name.

Or a slightly different title.

Just something, yeah.

I do think seven and a half deaths is a better title than just seven deaths because the half is like this serious.
