It was a big day for Georgia recruiting yesterday.

Great day for Dog Nation as well, providing coverage.

As the four-star offensive lineman Econay-Ogboko, we believe he can be a tackle at Georgia,

he made his commitment to UGA yesterday.

Now, there are so many reasons why I think this is a significant

moment in the life cycle of this 2026 recruiting calendar. Among the, I guess, most prominent

is, you know, offensive lines, specifically offensive tackle, that's a position of need for

UGA.

These have become very contested recruitments.

And so therefore, in kind of the late stages, it seems weird to say late stages of the cycle because the early signing period doesn't begin until the end of the calendar year,

but y'all kind of know how it works.

June's the official visit month.

Commitments come up after that.

And in the revenue sharing world,

we think that there's a really good chance that a lot of these commitments stick this year in a way

that in the NIL age of years past, maybe you would have assumed that a lot of them don't.

We kind of think that the word commitment may mean something now in a way that it hasn't for a lot of

the years that a lot of us have been talking about recruiting.

So when I say kind of late stages of the cycle, that's kind of what I'm getting to,

even though officially signing day doesn't come until the end of the year.
