fame. Here's your host, Brandon Adams. On the desk here right now, and I feel like, I don't know,

kind of old school or something, just got stuff just spread everywhere. First of all, I'm not a very organized person. Anyone who's ever worked with me knows that. You probably can even tell that a little bit just from kind of peering into our world on a regular basis. I always have, you know, stuff spread out on the desk today, more so than ever. The magazines are going to come back today, which I'm really excited about. We're going to do a little something on the magazines as it relates to Georgia.

In fact, we're going to do the inverse a little bit of what we did yesterday. We talked a lot about the Georgia offense.

Some of what's being said about Gunther Stockton, our reason for believing that some of the whole Stockton thing is sort of overplayed by kind of a low

information brand of fan and the media that sort of serves the low information, you know,

kind of conversation that we actually feel like, you know, the Georgia offense actually

probably set up better around a first time starting quarterback than it has at times gotten credit for. We're going to do a flip side today. We're in talking with the Georgia defense here for a moment. And it is interesting, at least in the couple of clips I'm going to play for you today by pretty prominent voices, that if we're kind of comfortable, you know, we did the whole thing yesterday about, hey, is it time to sort of re-rack the Nolan Smith, 7 and 5 and 25? Is there enough negativity out there about Georgia?

Are there enough skeptics out there about Georgia that we could use that as kind of a soft

target, sort of an easy enemy to sort of set us up for the upcoming season with Georgia

getting a chance to go out there

and prove its critics wrong. Georgia fans kind of like that, and we've kind of talked about

how much of that is realistic for this upcoming season. We joked about that some yesterday.

But admittedly, on the flip side of the situation for Georgia, looking at the defense, at least

in terms of a couple of prominent

voices that I've recently heard, you don't have quite as much negativity. And I do think this

is meaningful for Georgia here this season. Later on today, we're going to play an SEC network

analyst kind of focusing in on one Georgia player in particular, who I don't think that's getting

a ton of chatter from Georgia fans, who he thinks just might be outstanding. We're going to give you that here in just a little bit. But let me start with the guy, and I've told you before, I think that Greg McElroy is kind of quickly becoming maybe the top analyst in the sport. I can't quite tell if Kirk Kherb Street has his eye on the ball anymore, how much of this he really wants to do. Obviously, ESPN's college game days had huge change over the last couple of years. Herbstreys spread pretty thin doing NFL games on Amazon Thursday night, things like that. I don't really know what Herbstreet wants his future to be. He's still a young guy. I'm not really quite so sure what he wants to be in the future. It doesn't seem like he's as immersed in college football as he once was.

Sort of floats in the fall to talk about the games, but doesn't really live in these streets for 52 weeks out of the year.

Well, a guy like Greg McElroy, I think pretty clearly does that, does a podcast, does a radio show in the weeds when it comes to college football. And while McElroy's an Alabama guy, frankly, not everybody around Tuscaloosa, I'm sorry, loves McElroy because he hasn't always been effusive in his praise of the Crimson Tide as much they would like for him to be. The point is, is I do think, despite the fact he's kind of a Bama dude, you know, by his nature, I think that McElroy is pretty quickly becoming,
