The Ellen says the U.S. government is now working under, quote,

extraordinary measures to pay the nation's bills.

The Ellen predicting the U.S. will default on June 5th

if Congress doesn't raise the debt limit.

But with no compromise in sight,

we'll speak in McCarthy, do what Speaker Boehner did in 2011,

and compromise to avoid a global financial meltdown.

Before retiring from the Senate, Pennsylvania's Pat Tumey

was the top Republican on the banking committee

and also serving on the budget and finance committees,
