Hope you had a nice weekend. Did you have a nice weekend? We had a nice weekend. We pulled something off over the weekend that I did not think was possible.

So if you live in the Washington DC area, you are familiar with Interstate 66, aka the road of Satan, okay? 66 is a demonic road, a road on which there is always traffic, a road on which there has been construction for years, a road on which there will never not be construction.

Driving on 66 is torture anyone who drives on 66 with any kind of frequency understands this. There's never not traffic, no matter the day, no matter the time.

Lucifer himself could not have devised a more evil road than 66. Well, my wife's cousin lives off 66 in Virginia, so we drive out there every so often.

We drove out there on Saturday for his Wonder Old Daughters birthday party. The party was what you would expect, but the drive was not incredibly amazingly inexplicably, miraculously, no traffic.

I could not believe it. And this was the case going there, and then was the case coming back from there, and we drove out there in the 2pm hour, and then drove back in the 6pm hour.

I was certain that we were going to get slammed. I was positive that we were looking at an hour plus easily to and fro, and yet somehow, someway, no traffic, either way.

I'm sitting in the car and I'm saying nothing. This is like a no-hitter. You don't talk about it until it's over. So, yes, we overcame the road of Satan on Saturday. That was my weekend.

Hello and welcome to a Monday installment of the Algoldee podcast. Well, also on Saturday was the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, and this year's Senior Bowl, a very significant Senior Bowl for us as Commander's Fans.

That's going to take some getting used to us as a Commander's Fans, because this year Senior Bowl loaded with the top quarterbacks in the upcoming NFL draft, five of the perceived top six quarterbacks in the 2022 NFL draft were on Senior Bowl rosters.

Can he pick it? Desmond Ritter, Carson Strong, Sam Howell, and Malik Willis. And so, coming up in a bit is a special guest who will talk about the quarterbacks in the 2022 draft, and who was in Mobile for Senior Bowl Week watching the quarterbacks and talking to NFL executives and scouts.

NFL draft analyst Thor Nistrom of NBC Sports Edge, the mighty Thor will be back on the Algoldee podcast.

There's a great guy. He's excellent at talking NFL draft and college football draft season has begun. The commanders have the number 11 pick in the 2022 draft. And as you may have heard, the commanders are trying to upgrade at quarterback this off season.

So high level inside and analysis from Thor Nistrom is on the way. Also regarding our commanders, next segment in fact, my thoughts on big news on Friday in the workplace misconduct scandal.

Congress's committee on oversight and reform releasing multiple documents that shed new light on how the scandal has been handled by the NFL.

The documents do the NFL and Dan Snyder. No favors. Things now even worse for Donnie boy off that roundtable last Thursday.

I will talk wizards. Their mess of the season got even messier over the weekend. A 9580 lost to the NBA leading Phoenix Suns at Capitol when arena on Saturday night after the game Montrez Herola sounded off on the wizards.

You got to hear this and you will hear this during our wizards segment, which also will include my reaction to the stunning departure of Sasha Brown from the wizards front office. What that come from Sasha Brown just got a promotion and a contract extension on November 17th.

Now he's gone all kinds of things are happening right now with the wizards and speaking of area basketball teams having bad seasons Maryland and Georgetown.

Each team lost again on Sunday afternoon. The Terrapins fell to three and nine in the big 10 with an 82 67 loss at number 16 Ohio State.

The Hoyas fell to Ohin 10 in the biggest with a 71 52 lost to number 15 Providence at Capitol when arena. It really is something just how bad Maryland in Georgetown are this season.
