than the living ones, which is really saying something because the dead ones include

Tywin. Are we counting Lansel in the living or the dead category here?

Winds of Winter sample chapters, as well as Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, the TV

shows. Anything and everything. Our question, this episode comes from our patron, The Lickrish

Kid. More of a comment, really. This is maybe an over-dramatic way of phrasing it. Great way to

start. But I kind of think John and Sam's friendship is more or less over once John gets resurrected.

While he accepts the situation with the baby, once Amon dies, he once again blames John for it in his mind,

and since the rest of the book sort of establishes that the rumors about John that travel south seem overwhelmingly to paint him

as very harsh, the black bastard, a personality he most likely will fully embrace come resurrection time,

all mixed together with the pain of the journey. I kind of think there is going to be a pretty

big, maybe not permanent, but pretty big, falling out between the two. If that's the case,

maybe returning Gillie's baby could reconcile them in the end. Or maybe I just want all friendship stories to be structured like Colonel Blimp. A firm friendship is great, but a broken and painfully reformed one is even more so. Very well said. A great shout out to Colonel Blimp, which if you haven't seen, is one of my favorite movies for many reasons, but yeah, features a great, like, decades-spanning, difficult friendship between a British

man and a German man. And yeah, it's, like I've said before, the John Sam friendship kind of
