We are the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans. And because we do a fan-oriented conversation,

because after all, what other kind of conversation could you possibly have? Because we do it that

way, I do notice certain things about fan behavior. And I'm a fan just like you. So perhaps

at times I am a participant in this process as well. One of the things I frequently notice for those

Georgia fans who historically have been interested in involved with the ongoing recruiting discussion is.

There's a little bit of what I would call an emotional hedge.

And it seems like there's a lot of this now because we live in an NILH.

Things change quickly.

The touchy-feely part of the recruiting process seems less prevalent than it used to be.

It seems like there's more justification for the kind of quote unquote emotional hedge

than maybe there used to be.

But the truth is, even if you want to go back years ago to what maybe I might think you might

think of as a more traditional recruiting process, there was still a little bit of an emotional hedge when it comes to the various players and their looming decisions.

Now, what do I mean when I say emotional hedge?

It sort of looks like this.
