as we last spoke. It's almost one of those days where it's hard to even figure out where to

even begin. So let me begin this way. I thought undoubtedly the most interesting thing to happen

around the NFL draft the last couple of days is the dramatic

freefall for Colorado quarterback Chodor Sanders and really the reaction to all of that.

It was obviously the kind of thing that everybody was talking about.

And here's what it caused me to realize, and maybe you've never thought about this

in this particular way, but when I say this, I think you'll probably agree with me.

There are perhaps a lot of reasons that sports is popular, but one of the reasons I think is this,

is that sports fans by and large can be broadly separated into two categories related

to how they view rules, both written and unwritten. There are some people in sports that like

the so-called sort of rule breakers. Like before I was born, this would have been like Al Davis, the Oakland Raiders.

You ever heard the phrase, just win baby? They sort of popularized that. When I was a kid,

there was like the bad boy, Detroit Pistons. They weren't doing things what you were supposed to.
