Hello, everyone. Welcome to a lovely Friday morning here. I don't know if we're calling

this Dog Nation Daily or what exactly we're doing here. But we are breaking down the first night

of the 2025 NFL draft. Three Bulldogs get drafted. Busy weekend ahead. You've got

the second and third round tonight and then the

fourth fifth sixth and seventh rounds on saturday here my name is connor riley and we'll jump right

into it the big story from last night it's not the first georgia bulldog going off the board

that would be michael williams to the san San Francisco 49ers with the number 11 overall pick.

But we are talking about Jalen Walker.

And I think those that know me know I have long been a fan of Jalen Walker.

Self-dubbed, the president of the Jalen Walker fan club.

I was blown away by both what he does on the field, but also the type of leader he is

away from the field. And it's been very interesting following him during this draft process

because he's a guy who clearly did so much for the University of Georgia, a Buccas award winner.

When you hear Kirby Smart speak about Jalen Walker, he clearly means something special to him beyond what a lot of these draft eligible dogs mean to Kirby Smart.

And so it's been very interesting to sort of see how the NFL community, the NFL draft community,

reacts and interacts with Jalen Walker.

And so, you know, there's a lot of talk about him as a tweener.

But I think as the process went on, I think more and more people caught on to what

Jalen Walker ultimately brings to the next level.
