Started by his uncle in the 1970s, Tellurian was a response to the addiction and mental health issues that Vietnam veterans faced after returning home from the war. 0:21.7	through Gilbert Brown. So that's kind of the, that sort of the trickle-down effect here of how
0:28.9	it all works out. But Kevin's a great guy. He's doing a lot of incredible work. His organization

0:55.8	Kevin Florek. Thanks for coming in, Kevin. So why don't you just start by giving people just a
1:00.6	sense of what Tillerion is? Yeah. So Tilarion is a company that my uncle started in the 70s.
1:08.7	And he lived in Ashgosh. Mike Fl Florik is his name, and he was working
1:12.9	at Winnebago Mental Health Center.
1:15.0	And he noticed that people were coming back from Vietnam and being arrested or thrown into
1:20.2	the psych ward and quickly started understanding that they needed mental health and addiction treatment because they were
1:29.7	coming back addicted to heroin from Vietnam and they were suffering from post-traumatic
1:34.4	stress. So he wrote a grant and started working with vets in the 70s. And then in the 80s,
1:42.2	he moved to Madison and started growing mental health and addiction
1:47.2	and homeless service programs.
1:49.4	And I started working at Tilarian in the 90s.
1:52.9	And I took over for him maybe 10, 15 years ago.
