Today's episode is episode 241, and it's a continuation of what we've been doing on this journey to tell my version of Oswald's trip to Mexico City.

And in today's episodes, we pick it up at about 2.30 in the

morning in Houston, and we trek the rest of the way to the Mexican border and enter Mexico.

You might consider this to be a routine portion of the trip, but it was anything but.

So, without further ado, let's listen to episode 241 of JFK, The Enduring Secret.

At the end of the end of the day, now we have to assume that Oswald, wherever he was before that moment,

did in fact make it in time to Houston by some means in order to catch the next leg of the bus trip.

What exactly was that next leg of the trip?

Well, according to the Warren Commission, it was Continental

Trailways bus number 5133, departing Houston at 2.35 a.m. And it was headed to Laredo, Texas,

with one stop in Corpus Christi before getting to Laredo. And that's right, it left Houston

in the wee morning hours of Thursday,

September 26th. Laredo, Texas is, of course, the last stop in Texas along this particular

main highway. It's the U.S. border town right there on that particular highway route before you enter Mexico. And on the

Mexican side of the border there, and as you might have already guessed, lies a sister town named

Nuevo Laredo, which is, of course, the name in Spanish, or new Laredo in English. Back to leaving Houston on a bus, and the first

stop was in Corpus Christi, and it got them there to Corpus Christi some five or six hours later

at about 8.15 a.m. in the early morning of Thursday, September 26th. Houston is significant because it's the first place where Oswald shows up and is seen in Texas
