Summary

On today's episode I discuss the NHL's Pride Night initiative and how it has backfired on the league. Several of the players from around the league have refused wearing "special" warm up jerseys to celebrate Pride Night. Many of the players have cited religious beliefs for refusing to participate. The Chicago Blackhawks decided to forgo the warmup jerseys citing Russian law that could make life very difficult for their three Russian players. I have said this for years....when pro sports leagues start moving into the political and social arena, this is exactly what happens. 1:27.7	They did not want to wear the team's LGBT-Q Pride Night Warm- Sweaters, citing religious beliefs.
1:35.9	The Panthers put out a statement that read this, quote,
1:39.7	after many thoughts, prayers, and discussions, we have chosen not to wear a Pride night
