about Anthony Tamblay, who at 17 years old shot and killed his father, which is a very shocking

statement. And from the outside looking in, Anthony seemed like he was the

villain in this story. But after digging deeper into his case, it came to light that Anthony was anything

but. Our story begins in 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On June 3rd, 2019, at 315 a.m., 17-year-old

Anthony Joseph Tamblay made a call to 911. As he stood on the

sidewalk, he very calmly told the dispatcher, I just killed my dad. What do I need to tell you? Anthony told the

dispatcher he had shot his father three times. He wasn't sure if he was dead, but he was on the ground

and he was in a pool of blood.

Sergeant William Brown from East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. It was the

first time he had ever responded to a call in that neighborhood. Bad things just didn't happen there.

Anthony was still on the phone with 911 dispatch while he waited outside for officers to arrive. He was dressed in blue

gym shorts and a gray t-shirt. Officers had been told Anthony had left the firearm inside the home,

but they still needed to proceed with caution because they didn't know what they were walking into.

When officers arrived, they found Anthony sitting by the mailbox. He was immediately very compliant

and almost had no emotion. He wasn't crying and just did exactly what he was told to do,
