I like to get a little housekeeping out of the way before we get started on episode 24.

that I don't put into the podcast because I don't want to make it any longer than I have to.

Lastly, since recovering lots of battles and troops and opposing forces,

I thought I'd take a moment to give you an idea of the structure of the army

and the sizes we're talking about.

Just keep in mind that the men in any unit can vary greatly and as battles go on,

the wounded or dead are never really fully replaced.
