Today's episode is episode 24.

I've decided this is the right time for another wander.

For the next few episodes, we're going to cover Oswald's interrogation.

There are literally thousands of books on the Kennedy assassination, tens of millions of written pages of evidence, theory, and speculation. The horrible nature of the entire circumstance and what

happened, the totality of it all,

ultimately resulted in the failure to obtain a complete and thorough investigation,

one that was done in a timely enough manner to really get at the truth.

Well, the bottom line is that all this led to a continuing doubt about what really happened that day

in Dealey Plaza, or more specifically, the who and the why of it. Our country went first to passive

acceptance of the Warren Commission's lone gunman narrative, progressing then to a real

questioning of whether or not that was true,

and then finally, a plethora of speculation related to each one of the conspiracy theories as they

began to develop and matriculate. The last few podcast episodes are a really good example of what happens when the truth

scatters to the wind. We've been focused and fixated on a bolus of minute evidence that would

either place Oswald in the sixth floor window as a shooter or refute that he even physically

could have been up there at that moment.

And of course, Oswald never got a trial. And so all of the evidence was never presented.
