We're continuing our talk about fasting.

And today we're going to talk about fasting is the key to personal revival.

You know, there are revivals that are viral revivals.

It's the revivals that are hitting the nation or they're hitting the

church. And those are beautiful. And usually those are caused by the sovereign move of God in the response

to our hunger and the response of repentance and response of honestly, sometimes certain tragedies

taking place in the

nation or in the church but while you and I are not responsible for the revival in

the nation we are not necessarily responsible even for the revival in our church

we are responsible for the revival in our personal life.

Revival must be vital in our personal life.

And I believe that one of those keys to personal revival,

sustainable personal revival, is a life of fasting, is fasting,

especially extended period of fasting. As a lot of churches around the world

are doing 21-day fasting, some doing 40-day fasting, whichever church or whatever church your church

does, even if your church that is not doing it, you can still join us and be a part of this

movement and this time and a season of fasting before God. The famous most common verse that's

been used to spark revivals in people's lives is 2ndicles chapter 7 verse 14 I'll read verse 13 first

when I shut up heaven and there is no rain or command locust to devour the land or send

pestilence among my people if my people who are called by my name humble themselves pray

and seek my face and churn from their wicked ways, then I will hear
