There is nothing I love to see more than Georgia fans.

They're all kind of like rallied together around a cause.

And oftentimes

this happens during the fall, during the season for whatever might be going on, good, bad,

or anything else in between. But it doesn't have to be football season for Georgia fans kind of

come together in unison around something. Yesterday, an example of that, the NFL scouting

combine extended its invites.

Georgia had 14 players overall, former dogs, 14 of them on their way to Indianapolis for the scouting combine.

But one of the guys that was not there certainly got plenty of attention, the fact that Georgia safety, former Georgia safety, Dan Jackson, was not among the invitees to the NFL scouting combine.

Now, this kind of got everybody all fired up.

I thought our Kaylee Mansell was very funny on X talking about this yesterday.

Many of Georgia fans were too, basically just sort of ready to like, you know, come to blows over the fact that Jackson had been snubbed.

And honestly, I would say that I'm right there with you on that. Jackson played at kind of an all-S-eC level for George in his final season. He was 13-all-S-E-C, for instance.

Senior Bowl recently acknowledged him as the top safety during the week leading

into the game. He certainly handled his business very well in Mobile for all of that. It's been a

big player at Georgia dating all the way back to the 2021 season. The first of those national

championship years for UGA, Dan Jackson is a real football player of real acclaim, a guy who's a far better athlete,

the thing that people give him credit for, including, I guess, the NFL Scouting Combine
