I am joined as always today by my co-host Jason Lucas, but we are not alone.

Today we have brought along a special guest to talk a little about how we got started in the industry.

Mr. Taren Gregory is joining us today. Taren, why don't you tell us what you do

a Blizzard? Hey, I'm a Cinematic Project Director at Blizzard, Blizzard Animation. Mainly my responsibilities are directing in-game cinematics for

World of Warcraft though I have dabbled in some of the other properties that we have

but for the last 12 years or so I've been focused largely on endgame cinematics for wow.

Great so with these sort of special things we like to try and dig into how you sort of

got interested in gaming in general so like what like what's your what's your superhero sort of secret origin

as a gamer?

What was your intro video game that got you into it?

For me it was my parents. My parents I've spoken of many times in other avenues and they were amazing like mega geeks. I mean they're the ones that named me Tarrin Justice based on science fiction novels.

And I grew up from my earliest infancy in a house full of classic consoles, like the early consoles we're talking Odyssey 2 in

television to Atari 2600 these things that not a whole lot of people have played

because for a lot of people the console

era began with the NES but there were actually a lot of them before then and I

remember playing those as early as age four, age five, you know, adventure on the 2,600, B17 bomber on the

Intellivision 2.

Oh, did you have a voice module for B17 bomber?
