Let me give you one thing for free, completely off the top here, just for a couple of seconds,

and then we'll kind of dive into the show.

So yesterday morning I wake up, and like a lot of people, you scroll through your phone,

the first thing you realize is that within the world of sports, all heck is breaking loose

because the Dallas Mavericks have traded Luca Donchix to the L.A. Lakers for Anthony Davis, package players, whatever. And this is like going to dominate the sports world. And I want you understand something. I'm not against anybody who's into that and has strong feelings about that. I think people should enjoy what they like. But the thought that did occur to me is, and hopefully you kind of appreciate this in the same way that I do, that if you want to go back years ago, 10 years ago, 15 years ago, something like that,

if you want to go back years ago, that on a Monday in February, if you're going to listen to

sports talk, then the sports talk you're going to listen to is going to be dominated by that

discussion. I'm not against them. I'm not mad at it. A lot of you are probably into it too. My point is, is one of the cool things that we have seen. And I'm thankful at Dog Nation Daily, presented by Pella Window in Dorf, Georgia, that we've been able to be a part of this. One of the cool things that we've seen is the media landscape evolved to the point now where, hey, if that's

your thing, then there are 8 million podcasts you can go to and sort of die face first into the

implications of a big time NBA trade where all that means. But thankfully, for those of us who love

college football, and I am, I think you are too, one of those people. If you love college football,

now you sort of have your own space where we can kind of talk about our stuff. And if you want to kind of venture into the Luca Dodgich NBA trade territory eventually, hey, I don't fault you for doing that necessarily. But if you want the same old stuff that college football fans like to have delivered to them each and every day, here in our program, we're very thankful to be able to provide that. So just off the top, just kind of an appreciation of what the media landscape looks like now and the fact that our show gets to have a spot in that where we say, hey, we're not trying to beat all things to all people and serve up every single thing that everybody wants or like the one big story that we think everybody has to devour.

We're going to sort of stay in our lane, our niche, our little corner of the world here,

and that is talking about college football.

And in particular, it's Georgia football here today.
