It's Monday afternoon, June 12, 2023. I'm Bobby Chesney, who's suddenly in danger of losing his bet with his co-host regarding how many episodes we're going to have this year. Steve, what's happening?

Hi, Bobby. I'm Steve Flatic. Some stuff is happening. Yeah, everyone's mad at us. I just want to say, like'll send you our calendars and you can point out when we should have recorded in the last couple weeks because they're not very well matched up to each other.

Although you are just in London.

Yeah, yeah, good checking on the alumni over there.

It turns out we have a lot of Texas alumni in London and it was really nice to be there. And then the other thing about not recording as often,

interesting things happened since our last show, which granted was more than a month ago.

But wow. The Mets losing eight out of nine.

Man, maybe our listeners are glad to not have had episodes during the demise of the Mets season.

I saw online you actually formerly and publicly gave up on them, which was a nice bit of realism on your part.

I was hoping that it might have some sort of carmatic

inspiration for the Mets to turn things around, but alas, they lost two out of three to Pittsburgh.

So it's not just that they're losing. It's how they're losing. Like, you know, bad fundamentals,

you know, blowing three run leads and three straight games in Atlanta. I mean, it's all bad.

Well, have you unhappy or baseball note, have you been following the college baseball playoffs?

I have, although Texas lost last night, but, you know.

But they won in dramatic fashion the night before, and today it's going to be the winner take

all. Yep. All right. Well, I guess most listeners didn't come for the baseball talk.

You don't, you don't want to hear about the college world series?

Steve, I think this week they've come for a Trumplandia segment.
