Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, I am so thrilled to be with you today because I have special guests here

in my home with me. Joy is with me as usual. I am wonderful series of Girls Club podcasts

but she also has one of her dearest friends in the whole world, Elena. Hi Elena. Hi, I'm

so glad to be here. I am a graduate student in theology at Harvard and Joy and I have

been dear friends since our first year of college together. And it's rather fitting I think

that you're getting to come right before we're releasing everything because what better

way to celebrate Girls Club than having best girlfriends friends. And I should also say

that Elena has her very, her very own chapter in the book. I wrote about our friendship

and what it looks like to kind of develop friendship at one stage and as you blossom through

different stages of life. Anyway, we've been having a lot of fun. Well, we have actually

been having giggle fits and if you know what a giggle fit is, it's when you can't tell. I pity

you if you don't know what a giggle fit is. But it's we've had to start this over because

we're having so much fun. But I think that in the same way that many of you in my audience

think about books as those things that transform your life and inspire you that give you stories

to emulate. That's what the stories in our book are about great women that we have

walked with, that we have lived life with, that have influenced our lives and helped us

to want to become great women. And that's what we want to talk to you a little bit about

today is stories and stories of real people and real women that we have kind of sequestered
