Hello and welcome to the Pink Bike podcast.

And this week I am joined by Kaz Dario and Alicia for the pre-news Ramble.

So, Kaz, sometimes there's weeks that are just unbelievably busy with

mountain bike technology. This could well be one of those weeks. Why is it this week? Are they trying

to get it in before Seattle? Is there some reason or is it just pure coincidence?

Yeah. I mean, I think that is one of the big reasons because we have Seattle coming up next week.

So everyone's trying to get it ahead of time.

And then we also have kind of product launches that were backed up from some of these bikes

were probably supposed to have been launched last summer, I'd imagine, based on some of the parts

and things they're showing up on them.

And they just got delayed for various reasons.

So yeah, all these factors came in and that means this week there's like five bikes launching a day basically

okay so what would those treat me like the idiot I am yes what would those reasons be um the reasons

that they were delayed so if you had a bike ready that was good to go built up sign a warehouse why

wouldn't you sell it for a year if that was the case? Because the other half, well, the other half of your

warehouse is full of bikes that were from the previous year that you want to sell. So I think some of that

happened. Yeah. I mean, I think so. And then even product delays are still, like the supply chain stuff that was caused by the pandemic is sorting itself out, but there's still things that were hard to get for a bit. And it's just everything I kind of, yeah, kind of mixed up

and jumbled. So it's, it's sorting itself out, but it's still taking time. It's a bit like when

you've got fresh food decaying, but you've also got leftovers to eat. You're like, oh, what's, Which one do I go for? What's the lesser of the ears? Yeah, exactly.
