privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I'm here as I have been for the past days.

After the day we're recording podcasts for our Girls Club that you will eventually hear.

But I have joy here. Hi everybody, so fun to be with you all.

And I have you on my heart. I was absolutely astounded at how many women responded a couple

of weeks ago to my decluttering your soul podcast. And I wanted to do something today that

I hope will encourage you because I realize that probably all of us, you hit your

januaries and that sometimes when the blues happen because it's a little bit colder outside

at least for us in our hemisphere. And Christmas is over. All the exciting things are over.

You still have messes and people still want to eat and we're relatively clean clothes

every day. So demanding. So demanding. You know, in my kids are little, I didn't care if

they were the same clothes forever. Nobody knew. But anyway, as I have a heart for you

all today, I picture that probably your lives are very much like mine. It's a whole lot

of work and patience and building your ideals while waiting for the next exciting thing

to happen because I think that as I mentioned earlier that I feel like waiting is probably

the most prominent theme of my life. So I wanted to talk about some of that today with

Joy. But first of all, we were just reminiscing on our book, Writing Girls Club. Of course,

this is what happens in the Clarkson's house. We talk about ideas and ideals and someone

needs to write a book about and then eventually will have 10,000 more meals and then we will
