We got a lot to talk about today, including a jury ordering an insurrectionist to pay half a million dollars for assaulting a police officer who died by suicide

after the attack on the Capitol and a federal judge denying a motion from a Capitol rioter who wants

his restitution back. Yeah, he's not going to get that. Same as with the other one, right? The Treasury

has the money and you can't just get it back. We also have a story about

the DOJ coordinating with Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, to kill the Texas Dream Act. And that was

that six-hour case that we talked about a little bit on the Daily Bean, where I was like,

this had to have been coordinated. Yeah. It was. Also, Gavin Newsom is suing the Fox News Corp for $787 million for defamation.

I wonder why that number.

Yeah, it's an interesting choice of money.
