privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, it's Sally Clarkson here and it is Sunday afternoon, the day before New

Year's Eve and I just have had you on my heart so much. I can't tell you how thankful

I am for your letters and your emails and I've gotten a few gifts in the mail and I'm

just very honored and very privileged to be able to be kind of what I think is in friendship

with you and partnership with you and us together encouraging one another in the Lord and in

these ideals of life and in all the ways that we're going and thank you so much for all

of the people who prayed for a little Lillian and prayed for all of us. You know I wanted to

do this podcast today and I won't do a very long one but I think all of us enter into every

single day of our lives with certain expectations and I had really really told myself okay now

you're going to be exhausted from jet lag but you need to jump in and start encouraging

the kids and encouraging clay and get the house together and they had really done a lot

before I got here which is great on Christmas decorations but I knew that with nine of us

in the house for over 12 days that it was going to be a lot of food, a lot of shopping, a lot

of hi how are you let me pray to you oh let's go talk let's go have one more cup of coffee

and trying to kind of shepherd all the conversations that we have and cook the meals and wash the

dishes and stay up late and get up early and so I had really kind of emotionally prepared

myself okay this is going to be like a marathon but it's real important to everyone so you can

prepare your heart for it and then of course as life does happen thing Lillian got very ill and
