I hope you all had a wonderful restful holiday with friends, family, and for many of you, your Tesla's. Maybe some of you even got new ones. I appreciate all of you giving me a week off. Turned out to be a

pretty quiet Tesla News Week anyway. I was in Arizona to visit my parents had a

nice relaxing visit to see them over New Year's so that the

back end of the that two weeks I also I did get to have the last car I drove in 2015 and the first car I drove in 2016 be a

model S though not under great circumstances not how I would want it to go. As I've mentioned on the show before my

cousin Pat in Arizona has an early build model S. He'd been on the list since

for a little bit before the car had come out and you know whenever I do go visit

he's usually very nice enough to let me you know we go out for a drive together he

lets me drive and we just go go cruise somewhere.

Well, he unfortunately had a suffered a broken leg

shortly before the holidays and hadn't been able to drive the car

and he literally had been telling me on on the phone or on text on before I came

It's like you got to you got to take the car out because it's it's just sitting. It's not doing anything

So I said well well, I mean, sure, I mean, I guess I'll help out.

But yeah, I mean, of course it would be much preferable if he were 100%, because it's going to be a little while before he can get
