Welcome everybody to one of our special one-year anniversary shows of World of Warcast and

what I wanted to do for this show was I wanted specifically to bring in the one person that was very inspirational to me to get the show

started in the first place.

We're going to put the game aside for a while and we're going to talk about this last year

of podcasting, which of course is very important to me. I'd gotten the idea of doing a

podcast almost immediately after Apple had announced that iTunes was going to

support podcasting and I've been looking for a way to get back into doing audio

so one of the most important topics to me,

apart from my family of course, is World of Warcraft since I've been spending so much time playing

it so I thought, well there are no real World of Warcraft podcasts out there why don't I just jump on it and see how it goes

And one of the most respected podcasters in the tech community of us is of course my next guest Leo La Port and he has scads a podcast.

How many do you have now? I lost count I don't know. The most popular ones

are this week in Tech, Twit.

You have KFI Radio, Futures in Biotech, Security Now,

and of course the one that I love is Mac Break.

Yeah, so if you include that, it's nine. Let's see and you left out

inside the net you said that Floss Weekly, the Daily Gizwiz. Now I think we've

covered them all.

Although there may be more that I don't even know about.

Sometimes I think I'm doing podcast in my sleep,

so I stop taking Ambien.
