there are a few others we need to highlight briefly. In general, think of West Nile with its flaccid paralysis, dange, aka breakbone fever because of its

crippling myalgas and arthralgia's, and chicken guinea typically affecting smaller joints.

Diagnosis of any of these is clinical, but remember they can all present with abrupt onset

of fever, arthralgia, myalgia, and rash. So put them all on your differential if a patient

walks into your office with these symptoms. Sounds really tough to tell these guys apart. Big time.
