film Insidious.

0:44.2

This film marked the third collaboration between director James Wan and screenwriter and actor

Lee Winnel following their work on Saw and Dead Silence.

0:52.3

Armed with a small budget, a great cast, and the desire to tell

0:55.4

an old-fashioned ghost story, the pair crafted a unique spin on a well-worn subgenre that would go on

2:08.0

that point in time, I remember going back home and not being cool with having to go to bed that

2:15.6

night. But I read a lot about James Wan and Lee Wynnell whenever they made this film,

2:22.0

2:27.3

James Wan had said that people were kind of pigeonholing him because of Saw,

2:31.4
