So we spent a rather flued up sort of new year, just kicking around the house, playing games. But a gaming New Year's Eve, yeah? Yeah, yeah, it was a game New Year's Eve. Yeah, it was a game New Year's Eve. We got all the instruments out and we're playing. actually saw the new year in playing Master Exploder by Tenacious D, which is just perfect,

So let's have a look at what we're going to be covering today.

As always, talk about what we've been playing, what we've been doing.

We'll talk about some news, finishing up with the retail roundup, maybe a little bit of community contribution a little later on. And we'll possibly have a little look forward to 2009 and what games are going to be floating our boats and getting our juices flowing. So let's get straight into it, Matt. What you've been playing this week? Dude, I've been playing. I've been playing a loads. Come on then. As far as Christmas and time off gaming goes, I'm getting a bit of bored, tell the truth. I'm getting a bit of cabin fever. I know I don't like going out much, but I do like routine. To the point where I now buy your booze and fags? I ain't going out anywhere on a Sunday, right? Go on then, what you've been playing? Let's see, I've been playing a bit of wow again, some of World of Warcraft.

In fact, that's how I saw in the end of the year and started 2009 in World of Warcraft.

And I think I was in a minority because I think everybody else who was playing that game at that point wasn't grinding and wasn't leveling up like I was, they will hang around the capital city dancing around and just enjoying the celebrations of the year of the new year in a game. Did they do anything, did Blizzard do anything special for the new year? Were there fireworks or anything like that? I'm not too sure of what they do. I know that there's always a big festive thing going on during this time.

So I'm sure there was something you could have done.

But I was just on my own, just kicking about, just grinding away.

But this New Year shit, I've got to get myself some experience points.
