This is a case of a 41-year-old gentleman presenting with left upper limb weakness. 41-year-old gentleman with left upper limb weakness.

So, Valeria, what's coming to mind for you when you hear that chief concern?

Yes, so I think it's quite localizing the weakness.

I would like to say maybe it's proximal or distal and also if of the time course,

because I feel like, I mean, we can localize maybe to the motor cortex or going on forward

to the motor pathway.

But if it's a sudden onset, of course, thinking about vascular causes and as time goes

on, like acute causes, like inflammatory causes, infectious causes as well.

And then more chronic or so acute, like immun causes as well, and then more chronic or subacute, like

de-malinating diseases and maybe malignancy.

But I feel like also, so we can go from the cortex all the way down.

I think it would be less likely to find a very specific lesion, for example, in the internal capsule,

just because all the fibers are concentrated by going down to a plexus lesion or something in the nerve

or the root, and then going down to the muscle and the neuromuscular junction as well.

So amylopathy could also be possible.

And in not only like neurologicosis per se,

like for example, and something occurring in the apex of the lung

could compress or something on the vascular as well that could compress

the nerve fibers that give the motor, well, the motor nurse in the specific relation.

I think I, that's where I'm at.
