Lee. What did we think to the US Grand Prix then? It was all right. Yeah, it's pretty good.

It's all right. A lot of overtakes going on right the way through the field.

And some of them, we actually got to see on TV for once. I do like the circuit of the Americas. It was a lot bumpier, though, wasn't it, than it has been previous years? Yeah, everybody was complaining about the bumps from Friday onwards. You could see them. Yeah. You could see the bumps. bits where the tarmac had gone.

Yeah.

Apparently they are closing it over the winter

to do a complete resurface.

Well, do you remember when they, when they first constructed the circuit of the Americas, way back when the BBC still had TV rights to Formula One, David Kulthar drove his Red Bull, like, jacked up around, like, the dirt layout of the circuit.

You remember that?

I remember that.

And he thought, oh, that seems like a really interesting circuit.

And if you're tarmacking it on fairly loose dirt, it will move eventually.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Which apparently is the problem that they're having.

And the other problem that are going to have is how much a motor GP going to complain when they

resurface it? Because it won't be right for them

because they kicked off and it wasn't resurfaced two years ago and it was just ground down

well I wonder if that's caused any of the issues but I mean that's the circuit management to worry about I suppose I'd wonder whether it's got something to do with the fact it was ground down and then you had all that rain as well so you have all

that rain which soaks into the soil then you have texas heat on top of that which then makes

that where rain trying to escape that would cause bumps in my physics possibly so geographical physics
