Hello and welcome. I have got a pretty crazy story for you today. I'm going to be talking about Stacy Castor, who is known as the Black Widow. Not only does this story have murder, betrayal, lies, but it also has a pretty unbelievable story of survival that we're going to get into.

Because it is a doozy?

In 2005, Stacey Castor was living near Syracuse, New York, raising two girls, and living

what appeared to be a normal life. On Monday, August 22nd, 2005, Stacey Castor called 911.

The operator heard what appeared to be a frantic wife saying that her husband

hadn't shown up for work that day and she hadn't seen him since 5 a.m. Sunday morning. He locked

her out of their bedroom and hadn't left all weekend long. According to her, that weekend,

she and her husband, David Castor, had been arguing,

and he was heavily drinking and just wasn't acting right. She was calling to have deputies go and

check on him because she was worried. Police arrived on the scene to find Stacey Caster

outside and very visibly upset. One of the things she was concerned about was that

David had a shotgun under his bed, and she was worried he may have committed suicide.

Dom Spinelli was the lead investigator on the case. He and Sergeant Robert Willoughby entered the home

and found the bedroom door to be locked.

They didn't get a response after knocking on the door, so the door was kicked in.
