Here's your host, Brandon Adam. I said something yesterday, and I believe I said it on this show.

I know I said it during a radio interview that I was doing yesterday, but I'm pretty sure I said it on the show, too.

I think there's been a certain weirdness to the offseason conversation around college football this year

because we have such a different looking season on the horizon that some of the things that we might typically talk about

are a little bit more difficult to discuss. For instance, we've spent most of our lives

discussing, hey, who's going to win the SEC East? Well, there is no SEC East anymore. And so

therefore, an SEC championship that's not decided by division winners is a little bit more difficult to wrap our

minds around until we see it in person. For the last 10 years, we've kind of talked about who's

going to make the college football playoff. Who could be a playoff contender thinking of those as

being top four teams. Well, now the playoff is 12 teams. And while we certainly have plenty of

discussion about kind of the 10 and

two, nine and three teams that might make the play out, the truth is until we actually see that

play out, how many teams in the SEC will get in on a typical basis and sort of a real life

example of what we're kind of opining about here at the moment until we actually see some evidence of

that. It's a little bit hard to know exactly what that's going to look like, exactly what that's

going to feel like. We are entering into a brand new era for college football, in other words. And

I think that's incredibly compelling. And despite the fact that we might not know exactly how it's going to look and feel,

and that might shape the way we talk about it at least a little bit,

on this day before Georgia kind of begins fall camp tomorrow and sort of the unofficial start

to the season for sure, on the day before all of this gets going for real, I think there is one thing we can say with certainty.
