We are a weekly podcast where we have queer folks on from all walks of life.

So today, I guess we're doing, it's like the coming out of America kind of.

Ooh, creative.

I was just going to be like, we don't have a guest today, but you.

This is the coming out of America behind the scenes.

So basically, we do not have a guest today.

We decided that we were going to talk about the, quote, a rainbow wave that just happened in the midterm elections in the United States.

And what that means on numerous levels give y'all some, like, updates about who, which LGBTQ people were elected, where, some historic numbers to throw at you, just, you know, to be up on, up on the political news.

Yeah.

Oh, sorry, I cut you off, but I'm going to keep talking.

And so, and it's worth saying if you are a non-American listener or an American listener who is just not super into or adept with politics, please do not worry.

I will be representing you this episode because I do not know.

I got like activated like a sleeper agent in 2016 when many of us did, but I do not know a lot of this stuff.

So I will basically be the one in this episode who's saying,

like, wait, what does that mean? And like this and that and the other. So this will not be like a

super inside sports episode, surely because I am not at the level of being able to have that

kind of a conversation. But we did think it was worth talking about because for those who don't know, it was not necessarily expected, but there was a lot of media buzz about the expectation that there would be a red way of meaning that Republicans were going to gain a lot of seats and everyone was sort of doom and gloom.
