Yes, I am so glad you guys agreed to read this

because I hadn't read it,

probably since I was a teen myself and I was a little worried. I mean,

parts of it don't really hold up quite as well because it was written in the late 90s, but I was

like, oh no, this is still just as enjoyable as it was when I first read it as a teen. Yeah, I'm glad

you suggested it. By the way, this is flashback summer is continuing.

So we are reading these, you know, retro reads. And that's great. This was one that I had not read as a teen, but did read when I was selling books in the mid-aughts.

And I remembered basically zero about it.

Although parts of it did come back to me as I was listening to it.

I was like, oh, okay.

Like I had those moments of being like, oh, I know exactly where I was when I read this for the first time.

But yeah, when we agreed to it, I was like, yeah, I've read that before.

And then I started it and I was like, I don't remember anything about this book.
