Summary

On this episode of MUYP we burn down 2005 and 2006, a few slow "rebuilding" years for the band. Other topics include modern rock bands, the future of heavy metal, positive effects of social media, James Hetfield as a legitimate lyricist, one question each for the Metallica members, the best burgers in Nashville, Metallica on the Simpsons, opening for the Rolling Stones, debuting “Orion,” private gigs, inducting Sabbath into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, playing South Africa for the first time, Escape From the Studio ’06, debuting both “The New Song” and “Vulturus,” a Bridge School benefit compilation, the release of the Videos DVD and, of course, more Michael Bolton. Honey, please. Enjoy!
