On Friday show, we spent a good bit of time talking about a recruit that I find to be fascinating,

both for his skill set and the twist in turns that his particular story has taken.

It's Isaiah Gibson, the five-star edge rusher, who I guess might be a defensive in a Georgia,

could also be kind of the stand-up, a little bit like what you might think of,

Mikhail Williams, and sort of being, either way, the former USC commit, long-time target of Georgia with other pursuers in place. We spent a good bit of time on Friday kind of talking about Gibson and the apps and sort of in the aftermath of his, you know, his, his, his decommit for USC, the fact that as he told it on Friday, that there's always

one particular school that everybody always seems to want to bring up with him. We don't

know exactly what he meant by that, but we're not afraid to read between the lines every now

and then. And we certainly had reason to think that he might be getting some negative recruiting

about Georgia coming his way.

We had some thoughts on all of that.

And as we begin here on a Monday, there is new information on Gibson.

And I think this does a really good job of sort of becoming a larger narrative about recruiting overall at UGA for reasons I'll explain.

So he decommits from USC visits Ohio State.

Tennessee is thought to be a factor here.

But if the old mantra about following the visits matters in recruiting, well, there's a lot to follow when it comes to Gibson.
