Always a great day when you get to start the show by talking about some really good recruiting news for UGA.

And of course today, that's exactly what we get to do after five-star linebacker Zaden Walker from Sly County committed to Georgia yesterday.

Now, for a second here, we're going to kind of do the stuff you sort of expect.

And then after that, I want to kind of dive a little deeper into one reason in particular

why I think the Walker commitment news should really not go unnoticed. And obviously we kind of

said this before. You know, when you're a program like George and you've won so many big

recruiting battles, it's easy to sort of lump them all together.

But I think the Walker thing here perhaps kind of flies in the face of an emerging trend for college football that thus far, for the most part, George is not really a participant in. And I think that's really good news. And we're going to get to that here coming up in a moment. But first of all, anybody who's down there around Ellaville, Slyke County, I'll tell you, Walker is a really good news. We're going to get to that here coming up at a moment. First of all, anybody who's down there around Elliville, Sly County, I'll tell you Walker is a really good player.

Small program like that, you've got to kind of wear a lot of hats and Walker wears them all really well. but at Georgia, he's going to be a linebacker in the mold of linebackers that Georgia currently has,
