Summary
Richie is joined by Raja Miah MBE. Back in 2019, he blew the whistle on corruption at the Labour controlled council in Oldham. He began publishing a blog where he posted evidence that Labour politicians knew about grooming gangs operating in the town, but covered it up as it was inconvenient. Raja alleged that Labour was/is so reliant on the Asian block vote that they turned a blind eye. For his trouble he was harassed, arrested and taken to court a dozen times. He won. The terms of reference for the statutory independent inquiry into grooming gangs have been published. Survivors are not happy. They smell a cover-up. Raja discusses this and more.
