So for this week, we are going over some little bullet points of news here and there scattered throughout the week.

This was definitely a week of, you know,

nothing groundbreaking necessarily, but, you know, there were still some things that happened,

and I think it's going to spawn some interesting conversation with a few of the Oscar races

here today. We're also going to discuss the trailers for pieces of a woman one night in Miami,

and as a treat to the MVP film community, we are going to announce

the nominations for the 2016 MVP Film Community Awards, which hold a very special place

in my heart because those of you who have been with NBC for this many years know that in 2016,

when we launched a site myself Michael will we actually did

recap the 2016 year in a series of podcasts but we didn't have like this structured award

style that we do now and we also definitely did not hear from the community I mean

let's face it the community was really small back then. But it's obviously much, much

larger now. So I'm really, really excited to announce the nominations for the 2016 retrospective

that we've done recently. And we will have our own internal awards for that as well in the next

coming weeks. So first and foremost, let's go around really quick. Michael, what did you catch up on this week?
