yeah I do remember that which at the time I tweeted something saying, you know,

astounding ignorance from the sun here because as many people pointed out in response to that

story, yeah the monster is a sympathetic character.

Yeah, yeah, explicitly sold in Frankenstein.

That's the point.

is that the monster is portrayed sympathetically.

So I said, you know, absurd ignorance by the sun.

I've since kind of re-evaluated that and I'm less convinced that it's ignorance from the sun

and more the sun hoping that their readers are ignorant because it's just feeding the sun's current

But I think this basic reading comprehension is an important thing that seems to be going missing in all of those circles.
