because we've talked before about the importance of having mentors in our lives and I remember when I was in my 20s I signed up to be a big brother and one of the things that I noticed in my life is I wasn't around a lot of black and brown people and because I wasn't around black and brown people or living in those communities mostly white communities.

I didn't always understand when I was on the radio the perspective of black and brown communities.

And so I signed up to be a big brother in King County. There are 600 kids right now, mostly boys

that are looking for a big brother. Most of them are black and brown. Most of them will

never get a big brother. Most of the volunteers are white guys. They're practicing
