So I have a confession to make. We do not tape

day of. We tape the day before. And it is partially because of scheduling issues because we get a

lot of amazing guests and you just have to do it a way in advance. We also record in a regular

normal sexy studio except for today because it is Martin Luther

King Day, so we're actually recording from home. So if we sound a little different, that's why it is also

snowing outside here in Virginia. Really beautiful, but I don't know if the snow will impact,

I don't know, electricity or something like that. So we are recording today, and today is the Iowa caucus.

But by the time you hear this, you will know who won and you will know the results and the rankings of each candidate.

Now, I said on the last episode that the only poll that matters and the only pollster that matters in Iowa is Anne Seltzer from the Des Moines Register.

Her Iowa premier poll came out Saturday night and I'm a loser.

Well, I'm not a loser, but I'm a dork.

So I looked at it and was very excited to hear about it as soon as it came out.

And she has Trump at a whopping 48 percent, Nikki Haley at 20%, and DeSantis at 16%. Vavec doesn't even

count in this, but we're going to get into the Vavec of it all. So if you're listening to this,

Trump has most likely won. And what I want to do is sift through what that means, if anything,

at all. And again, we'll get

into that more in this podcast. We have Tara Palmerie, who is the Puck News senior correspondent
