Hello, Dashel. And excuse me for sounding like Punky Brewster today. Oh, you know what? If it's any consolation, I don't like the way my voice sounds every single day of the year. So it's okay if you got a little thing. Did you like sleep weird or wake up weird? I don't know. In this current world we live in and if you have a scratchy throat, you may be going down for the count for a while. No, that's true. I shouldn't joke. Everything. Any sniffle? I know. Yeah, no. It's true. Like it's crazy. Like every headache, every time I'm thirsty, I'm like, I'm dying. No, I don't joke. Everything. Any sniffling? I know. Yeah, no. It's true. Like, it's crazy. No, I don't know. You got to laugh about it a little. I've been, you know, we've all been doing our part here quarantining, and especially here in L.A. And I've been working out a lot. and I'm very fortunate when I did the show pitch.

I treated myself.

Pitch was where I played a major league baseball player. And it was criminally cut short,

as some fans will say on Twitter. And I tend to agree. I think it was one of my better shows that I've been a part of. All-Star cast, Kylie Bunberry, you can catch her on Big Sky now. Dan Fogelman, who was the executive producer, writer, creator of This Is Us, was our showrunner, along with Kevin Falls. And Kevin Falls was our showrunner, and he was also the showrunner of Franklin and Bash. So it was a really cool show to be a part of. Anyway, getting back to the

scratchy throat and my gym, I treated myself to a gym when I did that job. I tend to do that. Every

job I get, I treat myself or I treat my family to some sort of perk. And the perk for pitch was this great

gym that I now have. And I have jujitsu mats in there and, you know, full weight rack from Rogue.

Yeah, we recorded some of the initial episodes when we were trying to like get a sense of what it would actually be like to be in the same room as one another and, you know, feel each other's like, what do you want to call it? radio chemistry on this thing. No, I saw the gym. It's phenomenal. I described it to anyone who

asked me where I was that day as like, it's like a real gym. Those are the words I used. It's as if it's not a home gym. It's a gym gym. Going back, I used to be a amateur cyclist and I used to race almost every weekend and something that a lot of people didn't know that I did. But I would cycle

to and from work. I remember I lived in a small town, not small anymore, but Valencia here in

California in Los Angeles. And I would bike from Valencia to Silmar, where our studios were,

and bike back, and I'd get 40 miles a day of working.

I was going to say that's not a short ride.

No, it's not.

I started this actually.

When I lived in Valencia, I was working in Century City.

And one day I thought, you know, it's 40 miles to back and forth. And I used to

commute it on a motorcycle when I was doing NYPD Blue. And I thought, one day I'm just going to bike it.
