The early seeds of South Florida's fishing were planted in Miami and the water south to Key West.

The early fishing clubs and their extensive awards initially helped build the sport of light tackle and saltwater fly fishing.

The early pioneers were there and they all chased the variety of fish that the clubs demanded.

Al Flueger was right in the middle of that gold rush and very few have ever earned the respect

that this man had.

Here is Al Flueger's Hall of Fame Story.

a lot so.

Life's journey to the grave should not be one arriving with a pretty well-preserved body,

but rather skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke thoroughly torn out thoroughly used up

proclaiming wildly wow what a ride
