To begin today's show, we're going to find the easiest possible target we can imagine.

And we're going to make fun of that person unmercelessly.

And that person is me.

I think that every now and then it's probably kind of a good thing to do there on that.

And I think the reason why it's sort of good to occasionally make fun of yourself,

and in this particular case, it's good of good to occasionally make fun of yourself, and in this

particular case, it's good for me to make fun of me is a very simple reason. Here's what I believe.

The job that I do every single day, talking to this microphone to all of you who are kind

enough to listen, to be completely honest, I don't think you can do this job unless you're a little bit of a loud mouth. You have to be able to be okay sort of shouting into a microphone in order to be able to do this job. You have to be okay with the sound of your own voice, I guess. And just to be completely honest, maybe sometimes you have to sort of like the sound of your own voice a little bit and you've got to give big loud opinions.

Otherwise, maybe you don't get noticed as much as you need to for a show to gain traction and build the kind of audience. You need to, you know, satisfy all the requirements that you need

to have satisfy. You got to probably have a little bit of a loud mouth in order to do a show

like this. But here's what I also believe,

that there's a big difference between being a loud mouth and being a blowhard. Big, big

difference there on that. Loud mouth is, okay, I'm going to think about what I think. I'm going to

say it as loudly as I can, sort of put myself out there.

Blow hard, though, is if I get something wrong, I'm not going to pay attention. I'm just going to kind of blow right past and keep right on going. In other words, we're going to give big,

loud opinions, but hopefully we have enough humility to say, boy, if we got this wrong,

let's go back and laugh at ourselves.
