I am here all by myself today

but we will do a podcast

and answer some questions, have some fun Gregory will join me again soon and we will discuss I guess the future of the podcast and what we may or may not be doing but until then let's enjoy the show I am back. This is weird. I'm doing a solo podcast for the first time in our show's existence.

This is new to me, but yeah, let's do it. All right, our first question comes from Joe. Hey guys, I'm desperately missing the show in my life. Everything okay with y'all? Any plans to bring it back? Well, we've had that question a lot, and thank you, Joe, and thank you for everyone else who's asked. I'm not going to get into too much of detail, but we did take a break because both of us were very busy. I got really sick,

and then I got better, and then I got sick again. And then some other things happened,

all of which no one wants to hear about, but my personal life has been a little bit crazy.

I can imagine Gregory's has as well. But we will together be back soon. So stay tuned for that. All right,

our next question comes from Eric Nis. Thanks for writing in Eric. Eric says, recording dirty,

heavy rock drums with minimal mics like six max. How would you go about doing it? Recorder man,

stereo mics, Mike the Tom's, going for vibe and

weight and impact, and I feel like I don't need 16 mics to do it. Absolutely. You don't need 16 mics.

For something like this, heavy, dirty rock, I would do recorder man and room mics. So you've got your two overheads with Recorder Man,

one being more behind the drummer,

one being over top, the snare,

the kick in the snare,
