What's up, guys? Welcome to today's episode of the Chiu-Jitsu podcast. More, I guess it's actually

would be this week. So we do one episode a week with you guys. We got a guy named Keith

Crickorian on the podcast with us today. So I remember, I didn't really notice at the time

because like when I was competing at the trials in 2018, he was competing as well. He took

second. I ended up taking third

that weekend. And so I was too busy competing to even really pay attention. But at the trials this

past year when I was there coaching my student and watching the trials, I saw this dude in the

lower division, the 66

kilo division, just tearing through people. And I was like, man, who is this guy? You know,

like I was like, I don't know who this guy is. And then I looked him up and I was like,

oh, man, this guy's like really, really good. And I looked at some of the stuff. And I really

enjoyed watching his game. He was aggressive for the

submission. And even sometimes when he didn't get the submission, he was fun to watch. And so

for me, this is going back to that trial's experience. I was like, well, I sort of made a list of

people. I was like, I want to try to get some of these guys on the podcast because I just like

watching their jihitsu. And so it's fun to talk to people that have good jih Tzu that I enjoy watching. And so this is where he came from. So before we jump into it, just kind of letting you

guys know something that we'll kind of bring up, he ended up placing third or second at the

trials multiple times. So if I'm correct, I'm going to look over right here. He ended up placing at the trials, I believe it was three times in a row.

Yeah.

Or three times at second place, both 2018, 21, and then 19 at the East Coast and West Coast trials.

And then this past year, 21, but at the, or excuse me, 22, he did the West Coast trials

and took first place for the first time.
