Hello and welcome to the Fizzle show.

This is the Fizzle show where every Tuesday we publish another conversation about the art and science of earning a living doing something that you actually care about.

We are not one of those like five bullet points, the three peas of productivity.

We don't give you the BS spoon fed for you.

We expect you to be a grown-up because this is a grown-ups world that we're

living in. It's the law of the jungle out there, folks, and we want to help you be prepared for it.

To earn a living, doing something you actually care about. That's what we're about and fizzle,

because a lot of small business work is about what you're like and what you do when your motivation starts to fizzle out.

So every week we publish another conversation that can hopefully give you a little boost.

You know what I mean?

A little booster shot right in the arm.

So that's what we're doing here today.

And specifically today, we actually have a guest on the show because we wanted to bring

someone on to talk about Medium.

You know, we've talked before about using Medium. Medium.com, which is like YouTube

for bloggers, right?

We wanted to talk to an expert, someone who's been using this to build their own audience,

to hear what it's like to actually grow an audience there instead of owning your own blog,

using WordPress or Squarespace or something like that.

That's the world that Corbett and I both come from and that we have a lot of experience with.

And so yeah, today on the show, we're going to hear some tips and tricks and some real-life experiences about what it's like to use medium to grow an audience.

What tools they have, what tools they don't have, what we wish they had, what they have.
